Silver

.925 silver is the metal of choice if you want to take care of your jewelry as less as possible. An alloy composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, silver is the noble metal most often used in jewelry.

Its oxidation gives the jewelry worn an aged effect sought by many. This is why some of our models have received chemical oxidation, in order to slightly blacken the jewelry.

Maintenance instructions for silver jewelry

Silver maintenance can be done simply with a polishing cloth. Remember, the more often you wear your jewelry, the less quickly it will oxidize.

Bronze

Bronze is an alloy consisting of copper and tin. It is a warm golden color, reminiscent of "vintage" gold.

Maintenance instructions for bronze jewelry

All metals tarnish over time, especially when your jewelry comes in contact with certain "triggers" such as perfumes, salty air, skin creams, hair sprays, chlorine, or simply if you have a more acidic body pH. The importance of tarnishing depends mainly on your skin and your jewelry maintenance habits.

The tarnishing of a piece of jewelry is not due to a production error and can easily be resolved!

Recipe:

  1. Mix equal parts 1:1 white vinegar and water, enough to cover your jewelry.
  2. Let your jewelry soak in this mixture for about 1-2 minutes, then scrub the jewelry with an old toothbrush as needed.
  3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry thoroughly
  4. Finish the operation by restoring luster to your jewelry by rubbing it with a polishing cloth if necessary.

Gold Filled 14k/Gold Filled 14k Gold

Gold filled is a material consisting of a solid envelope of real gold permanently affixed under pressure to a metal alloy base.

Gold filled is legally required to contain 5% gold by weight.

Unlike plated jewelry, you won't have to worry about jewelry tarnishing, gold chipping, or allergic reactions. The product is easy to maintain and generally retains its shine for many years.

Care Instructions for 14k Gold Filled Gold Jewelry

You will notice that we mainly use gold filled for our chains accompanying our bronze pendants, our hooks for certain earrings, and also certain rings. As this metal requires very little maintenance, a polishing cloth will suffice to restore a little shine to it if necessary.
